This cantina occupies the headquarters of the Montepío del Arrabal provident society, which was created in 1894 to provide healthcare for its members who were fishermen, labourers, cobblers and ropemakers. The restaurant has respected antique elements such as the bar with decorative tiles and the floor covered in hydraulic tiles. It prepares a sincere cuisine in which the same importance is given to local fish as to that which comes from remote enclaves, with organic meat and vegetables from Mallorca which sine out in dishes that are not over-prepared.
