Barcelona
Descripción Datos de contacto

Located since 1847 along the city’s most emblematic promenade, La Rambla, the Gran Teatre del Liceu is a sumptuous edifice that was conceived to stand as an equal among the greatest opera houses of its times. Over 160 years of history have earned it international renown and made it one of the best-loved symbols of the people of Barcelona. Guided tours are held daily from Monday to Sunday at 10:00 a.m., lasting about an hour and 10 minutes. So-called “express visits” that last about 20 minutes are also available. The guided tours visit the Foyer, the Hall of Mirrors, the historic vestibule, the main auditorium and the Cercle del Liceu. The Cercle or Circle, a private club in the English style, is a Modernista jewel with a highly valuable collection of paintings, notably including those by the great Catalan artist Ramon Casas.
