The Museum of the History of Barcelona (MUHBA) conserves and displays the historical heritage of the city from its origins to our times. Its collection of over 35,000 objects connected with life, traditions and festivals of Barcelona helps to explain the city’s past and present. MUHBA’s main headquarters are located in the Padellàs House, one of the buildings forming the Monumental Complex of the Plaça del Rei in the heart of the Gothic Quarter.
