Descripción Datos de contacto

Restrained elegance, luxury, originality, functionality, exquisite detail and an innovative conception of space and of the way of dealing with light combine at the Güell Palace, commissioned to Antoni Gaudí by his patron Eusebi Güell, who gave the architect complete creative freedom. This was Gaudí’s first masterpiece building, now listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in recognition of its exceptional universal value as a key structure in the renewal of architecture worldwide. On a visit to the Güell Palace you see the dwelling of a family with its bedrooms and drawing room... you go up to the roof deck with its forest of chimneys in imaginative colours and shapes... and you see the horse stables, reminiscent of a beautiful chapel. This is a place that must be seen to understand the work of Antoni Gaudí, a fascinating artist.
