Iglesia de Sant Rafel

Sant Antoni de Portmany
Descripción Datos de contacto

Eight kilometres away from Sant Antoni and close to Eivissa we find Sant Rafel de Sa Creu. Perched on a hill, the vantage point of the church of Sant Rafel – constructed from 1786 to 1793 – offers a spectacular view of the south of the island, with Dalt Vila and Formentera in the background. The church has seven side chapels, in addition to a curious bell tower with curved shapes, inspired by that of the Sant Antoni church and which is not repeated on the island. Sant Rafel is a quiet village, the centre of which is quite busy at night due to the numerous restaurants serving Ibizan and international cuisine that are found in the main street. It is worth a visit to enjoy the rural Ibiza, far from the hubbub and bustling pace of the night.
