Descripción Datos de contacto

The Prado Museum is for many the world’s best picture gallery. Since its creation in 1819, the Museum’s collection holds significant sets of works by artists who can only be understood in depth here, like Titian, Rubens and Hieronymus Bosch. Also to be seen here are the great masters of the Spanish school: El Greco, Velázquez and Goya. In its almost two hundred years of existence, the collection of the Prado Museum – the Museo del Prado, has grown to offer a fully comprehensive view of Spanish art’s development from the Romanesque period to the Modern masters of the 19th century. The Prado is now considered one of the most important and interesting institutions of Western culture.
