Descripción Datos de contacto

This museum contains an exceptional collection that summarises the evolution of modern and contemporary art in Spain. It has works by the most significant artists of the early avant-gardes, of the mid-century movements and of recent generations, with essential names such as Juan Gris, Miró, Dalí, Picasso, Tàpies, Chillida and Miquel Barceló, amongst many more.
The location is a 17th-century building conceived as a residence and adapted as a museum by the architect Guillem Reynés i Font, which has been extended and altered on several different occasions. It has halls containing displays on artists represented in the collection and other exhibition projects. The museum runs an educational programme aimed at students and the general public, and organises workshops and guided tours of the collection.
